木工作家　堀宏治（hori kouji）のオンラインショップです。

2017年の11月に長年暮らした鎌倉から、僕の故郷である長崎県の佐世保市へUターンし、自身のアトリエを構えて日々制作に励んでいます。

《作品について》
コンセプトはnatural&simple.
毎日使ってほしいからこそ、デザインは極力シンプルに。
特に丸盆は陽のあたる縁側に座ってのんびりとお茶をする穏やかな空間に合うよう素朴に。

「これで事足りる」「朽ちていく美しさ」である侘び寂び Wabi-Sabi
素朴な中にも手仕事を感じられるような仕上がりです。

This is the online shop of woodwork Artist Hori Kouji.

In November 2017, I returned to my hometown of Sasebo, Nagasaki Prefecture, from Kamakura, where I had lived for many years. I set up my own studio and work hard every day.

About my works:

My concept is natural & simple.

Because I want my pieces to be used every day, I keep the designs as simple as possible.

The round trays in particular are rustic, fitting in with the tranquil atmosphere of sitting on a sunny veranda and enjoying a leisurely cup of tea.

Wabi-Sabi, or "enough is enough" and "the beauty of decay," represents the concept of "wabi-sabi."

The finished product is simple yet has a handcrafted feel.
