この作品は旋盤などの機械は使わずにフリーハンドで丹念に削り出した作品です。そのため輪郭は真円ではありませんが、手仕事を感じていただける作品に仕上がったと思います。
This work is entirely hand-carved.
The interplay of light and shadow is expressed through the shading of the lacquer.
and I used white lacquer to create the appearance of stars.
